This is a water colour of the Dilinza forest on top of the
boardwalk. No sketching was done, straight painting on the
paper. Some people like it, I am personally not happy with
it, and feel I need more practice with this technique of
painting landscapes in water colour without crude sketching.
Perhaps in oils this would have been done better. This was
not done with photo reference but with direct observation
and memory. Here is the photo of the place but the
photo has more of a left view and the painting based more on
the right view which is not visible in the photo.
